From download to use

Getting started

  1. Confirm that you have a restorable backup and install according to the repository.
  2. Open WooCommerce → Store Guard and choose Capture baseline before updating.
  3. Compare changes afterwards and complete an actual checkout test.

What you need to know

This is not a backup, rollback, uptime monitor or transaction test. It does not change orders or WooCommerce settings; it stores only its own snapshots.

Test on staging first and keep a restorable backup. Read the README and licence in the public repository for current instructions.

A common question

Do passing checks prove that checkout works?

No. These checks cover state and configuration. You still need to test cart, payment, shipping and email flows.
