Website terms

Straightforward terms for using lineweb.gr.

These terms govern the public website and its forms. They do not replace a project proposal, statement of work or service agreement, which will define any actual client engagement.

Effective and last updated: 15 August 2026

01Scope

About these terms

lineweb.gr is operated by LineWeb, through Andrew Matia, from Thessaloniki, Greece. By accessing the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms of Use.

Website use is not a project contract

Reading a page, sending an inquiry or receiving an initial reply does not create a client relationship or oblige either party to begin work. A project starts only after the parties agree the scope, price, timing, responsibilities and other material terms in writing.

02Permitted use

Use the website responsibly

  • Do not attempt to bypass security, access restricted areas, probe vulnerabilities without written authorisation or interfere with website availability.
  • Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, infringing, malicious or automated spam content through any form.
  • Do not scrape, reproduce or commercially reuse substantial website content, case studies or visual assets without permission.
  • Provide accurate information when using the inquiry or review forms and do not impersonate another person or business.

We may restrict access, remove submissions or take proportionate technical or legal action where these rules are breached.

03Content

Ownership and portfolio material

The LineWeb name, website design, original text, graphics, code examples and other original material on this site are protected by intellectual property law. You may view and share public page links for ordinary informational use, but no ownership rights are transferred.

Client names, logos, screenshots and trademarks shown in case studies remain the property of their respective owners. They are presented to describe real work, active projects or publicly available products. Project-specific ownership and licence terms are defined by the relevant written client agreement.

If you believe material on this site infringes your rights or is inaccurate, contact info@lineweb.gr with enough detail for us to investigate.

04Engagements

Proposals, delivery and payment

Descriptions of services, products, timelines or outcomes on this website are general information. Actual deliverables, fees, payment stages, support, acceptance criteria, licences, warranties and termination rights are set out in the proposal or agreement for each engagement.

  • No fixed deposit, delivery period or warranty applies merely because it appears in a general website example or previous project.
  • Search rankings, advertising results, lead volume, revenue, conversion rates, third-party approvals and AI outputs cannot be guaranteed.
  • Timelines depend on scope, dependencies, client feedback, content readiness, third-party systems and agreed changes.
  • Third-party subscriptions, platforms and infrastructure remain subject to their own terms, availability and pricing.
05Information

No substitute for specialist advice

Articles, guides, case studies and service pages are general information based on LineWeb experience. They are not legal, tax, accounting, medical, financial or other regulated professional advice. You should obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances before relying on information for a material decision.

We try to keep the website accurate and available, but content may become outdated and uninterrupted availability cannot be promised. External links are provided for context; LineWeb does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites.

06Responsibility

Liability and mandatory rights

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LineWeb is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from access to, inability to access, or reliance on this public website or an external site.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where applicable. Nothing limits mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.

Project liability is agreed separately

Any liability connected with paid services or delivered software is governed by the signed proposal, statement of work or service agreement, together with mandatory law.

07Law and changes

Governing law and contact

These website terms are governed by Greek law and applicable European Union law. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute in good faith. Where mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules apply, they remain unaffected; otherwise, the competent courts of Thessaloniki have jurisdiction.

If you act as a consumer and a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman or another competent alternative dispute-resolution body. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is not referenced because it has been discontinued.

We may update these terms to reflect website, service or legal changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after publication of an updated version means the updated website terms apply from that point.
