Clear information about your personal data.
This policy explains what LineWeb processes, why it is needed, how long it is kept and the choices and rights available to you. Optional analytics and marketing remain disabled until you allow them.
Effective and last updated: 15 August 2026
Who is responsible
The controller for this website is LineWeb, operated by Andrew Matia, based at Leoforos Nikis 47, Thessaloniki, Greece. You can contact us at info@lineweb.gr or by phone at +30 2332 401023.
This policy applies to lineweb.gr, its public pages, project inquiry form, review form and the administration functions supporting those forms. Separate client systems operated by LineWeb customers have their own controllers and privacy notices.
What we process and why
- Project inquiries: name, email, selected service, message, source page and limited security data. We use the details to answer your request and take steps before a possible contract. The legal bases are GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and our legitimate interest in protecting the form under Article 6(1)(f).
- Client reviews: name, company, domain, email, rating and review text. The email stays private and is used for verification and follow-up. Public attribution and publication are based on the explicit consent you give in the review form under Article 6(1)(a).
- Analytics: pages viewed, interactions, device and browser information and approximate location derived by Google Analytics. We use this only after analytics consent to understand and improve the site.
- Campaign measurement: after a successful inquiry and only with marketing consent, Meta may receive a random event identifier, hashed email, browser identifiers, IP address, user agent, source URL and selected service. Your inquiry message is never sent to Meta.
- Consent evidence: a random consent identifier, selected categories, choice method, policy version and timestamps. It is not linked to your name, email or IP address and is kept to demonstrate that choices were respected.
- Form security: Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limiting may process device, network and browser signals to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. This processing is limited to security and fraud prevention.
No hidden automated decisions
LineWeb does not use this website data to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Review publication always requires manual approval.
How long data is kept
- Project inquiries: up to 24 months from submission. If an inquiry becomes a client engagement, relevant business, contract and accounting records are retained separately for the periods required by law or the agreement.
- IP address and user-agent data attached to inquiry or review records: up to 90 days for abuse prevention and security investigation, unless a documented incident requires longer retention.
- Pending, rejected or otherwise unpublished review submissions: up to 12 months. Approved attribution and permission evidence are kept while the review remains public and, where necessary, for up to three years after withdrawal to establish or defend legal claims.
- Cookie consent records: up to three years. The preference stored in your browser expires after 12 months, after which the site asks again.
- Google Analytics and Meta cookies: according to the periods listed in the Cookie Policy.
Data may be retained for longer only where required by Greek or EU law, a binding authority request, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Who may receive data
We disclose only what is necessary to providers that support the website and communication flow:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and serve the website and its private administration data.
- Resend for transactional inquiry emails and confirmations.
- Cloudflare for Turnstile form protection.
- Google for Analytics when analytics consent is active.
- Meta for Pixel and Conversions API campaign measurement when marketing consent is active.
- Professional advisers, auditors or public authorities only where access is necessary, legally protected and permitted or required by law.
Google, Meta, Cloudflare and Resend may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on applicable adequacy decisions, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards described by the provider. We do not sell personal data.
